KATE BAILEY

Kate holds her Advanced Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Manitoba and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She has a professional background in crisis services and community support settings across schools, community-based programs, and hospitals.

Kate’s approach to therapy is tailored to each client and their unique needs. She draws from a blend of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, person-centred, and solution-focused therapy. She provides services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, OCD, eating disorders, self-harm, self-esteem issues, and gender identity issues.

Kate works from a trauma-informed and culturally-responsive perspective, and her goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and inclusive environment where every client can feel comfortable being themselves. She is committed to supporting individuals from all backgrounds and identities, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
