It is our intention to express deep gratitude and appreciation to the custodians of the land and to those whose territory we live on.

Full Circle Psychology acknowledges our privilege to work and to serve on the original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. We respect the Treaties that were created on these territories, and we acknowledge the painful mistakes that have been made. We would like to specifically acknowledge the unethical role the profession of psychology has played and the harm psychologists have caused Indigenous people. We take accountability for these failures, and we promise to make the Truth and Reconciliation Council (TRC) Calls to Action a part of our work and practice.

We are committed to learning the truth, listening to the voices and wisdom of Indigenous peoples, and engaging in ongoing self-reflection as we seek to understand the systemic injustice and genocide of Indigenous peoples.

We humbly offer this statement in the spirit of reconciliation.
